You don't have to tell the people of God to rejoice. We just do, because we are His people; we gather together in His presence with a joy that is God-centered, full of remembering God's faithful works, and overflowing with thanksgiving that is offered back to Him.

Current Sermon Series:
Fewer People Are Pleased. According to Gallup, 89% of adult Americans perceive the U.S. government as being corrupt, a high in 20 years.
In a country where many are polarized across a wide range of issues, this is one case where bipartisanship reflects shared alarm as much as shared consensus.
But how should we as followers of Jesus think and relate to our government?
Let's look at the counsel of God seen in Romans 13:1-7 where it addresses what our relationship as believers should be with governing authorities. This passage answers the following questions:
When (if ever) is civil disobedience justifiable?
What about armed rebellion or revolution against a corrupt government? Should we withhold part of our taxes to protest government misuse of our tax dollars?
And by the way, the apostle Paul is still speaking about how we as believers are to live in love and get along peaceably with all people. It should be an interesting look at God’s Wisdom and Truth.
