You don't have to tell the people of God to rejoice. We just do, because we are His people; we gather together in His presence with a joy that is God-centered, full of remembering God's faithful works, and overflowing with thanksgiving that is offered back to Him.

What is the most beautiful place you’ve ever seen, the greatest joy you’ve ever experienced, the sweetest moment you’ve ever relished, the most tender love you’ve ever known, the deepest spiritual high you’ve ever engaged, the most astounding victory you’ve ever celebrated, and strongest moment of faith that awakened you?
Heaven is infinitely greater than all those moments combined.
We’re looking at Heaven this Fall through a sermon series titled: Our Heavenly Peace. One day God will take us to be with Him, and when He does it all our senses will go into overdrive. The current national and global condition invite us to anticipate and focus more often on our future eternal place and peace in God presence, agree? Let us remember, earth is not our home, we’re just passing through.
